June topic: Rock n Roll
Who does't love rocks? We will have some hands-on exploration of different rocks, break our very own geode, and go on a rock hunt!
Come early and participate in our FREE Second Saturdays program- open to all ages, family friendly; explore a new topic every month!
Class is held outdoors at the Lakeside Nature Center Shelter, with a Nature Walk through the woods, so dress for the weather! In inclement weather, we will be inside the Nature Center building.
Children are naturally curious-help grow that sense of wonder into a greater appreciation for the natural world around them, while building personal-social skills. Explore, discover and create with your child hands-on, nature-based activities every month during our program Little Sprouts is geared toward 2-5 year olds and their caregiver, and held at Lakeside Nature Center. This will be a year-round program, with monthly themed activities.

Price: $5.00 Taxes waived
Required age: 2 - 5 years old on the day of the activity
Notes: Thank you for registering for Little Sprouts! Little Sprouts is held mostly outside at Lakeside Nature Center Shelter, so dress for outdoor adventuring. In poor weather, we will go inside the Nature Center. In the case of extreme weather or low enrollment, class may be cancelled and you will be notified via email, with an account credit refund.
