Description:
Our mini camps nurture your child’s connection to nature by safely encouraging exploration. Campers will be taught to sense the animals, trees, and more while walking through various local trails. With our small group sizes (1:5) each adventure is catered to the interests of the campers that day. Camp varies locations between Lincoln Park, Lake Storey, & Lakeside Nature Center. Campers will receive a small snack during camp.
As one of the Wiggly Worms and Adventure Seekers, your child can expect a smattering of hiking, exploring, water play, fishing, open-ended art, stories, and lots of unstructured nature play with the group! Campers are encouraged to become experts in areas that interest them. You may find they want to look up information about a bird, tree, or bug when they come home! We will have special guests visit as well!
New this year- we will have a Counselor-In-Training camp running concurrently! Has your older sibling aged out of Adventure Seekers? They can become a counselor in training and assist with one of the younger camps, while enjoying all the fun of nature camps!
