Dear Fun Days Parade Registrant:

Please read through this information and take special note of the fact that you are not automatically a guaranteed participant in this parade. The 2025 parade will be limited to 80 units, which is less than prior years. The parade line-up is first-come, first-serve. Please submit your entry as soon as possible prior to June 14th, 2025. A late fee of $50 will be added to applications submitted after June 14th. No registrations will be accepted after June 30th.

Applications from political campaigns, parties, candidates, or PACs will not be accepted however they are permitted to walk the route prior to the start of the parade.

If you have animals in your parade unit, please properly care for them including having water available, cleaning up their waste, and providing appropriate items for them in extreme temperatures, rain, or other weather conditions.

If your application is not accepted, you will receive notice by June 30th, 2025. If you are not accepted, your registration fee will be returned.

On July 3rd you will receive instructions along with various other information, including your staging number and staging location assignment.  Please watch for an email from our committee.

THE PARADE WILL START AT 11:00 AM ON SATURDAY, JULY 12, 2025.  This is a rain or shine event. Registrants should be in their designated location no later than 10:40am.

Notes: ANIMALS - If you have animals in your parade unit, please properly care for them including having water available, cleaning up their waste, and providing appropriate items for them in extreme temperatures, rain, or other weather conditions. HANDOUTS – Any entry that distributes handouts must provide walkers at the sides of the routes. Handout material must have value other than purely advertising. No materials will be thrown from any vehicle or entry. Failure to comply with this requirement will mean immediate expulsion from the parade route. NO ALCOHOL IN POSSESSION OR PERSONS UNDER THE INFLUENCE. NO SALE – No entry will offer for sale or barter any product or service along the parade route. ROUTE LENGTH – From start to finish is approximately 1.7 miles. All entries must be able to complete the route without rest or stops. SIGNAGE – Must be painted or printed in a visible and well-constructed manner. Sketched or poorly constructed signage will not be allowed. VEHICLE OPERATORS – All vehicle operators must have a valid driver’s license and be prepared to show proof of insurance upon request.

Prerequisites: PERMITTED PARADE ENTRIES: • MARCHING UNITS • BANDS • CLOWN CLUBS • ANIMAL RIDERS OR DRAWN VEHICLES – ENTRANT WILL PROVIDE FOR COLLECTION OF ANIMAL WASTE IN THE STAGING AREA AND ON THE PARADE ROUTE. • MOTOR VEHICLES – THAT POSSESS COLLECTOR REGISTRATION, VEHICLES AUTHORIZED FOR PARADE OFFICIALS, ROYALTY AND VEHICLES FOR SERVICE OR EMERGENCY. NON-INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE POWERED VEHICLES MAY HAVE SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS. • MOTOR VEHICLE CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS (MOTORCYCLES, OFF ROADERS, ETC.) – ARE LIMITED TO NO MORE THAN 10 VEHICLES. • FLOATS – PROVIDING THAT THEY ARE AT LEAST 75% COVERED, AND THAT TOWED FLOATS ARE EQUAL TO OR GREATER IN LENGTH THAN THE TOW VEHICLE. TOW VEHICLES MUST BE IN GOOD MECHANICAL CONDITION AND APPEARANCE.
