Description:

(Age 18+) Redmond Parks & Recreation is looking for volunteer youth basketball coaches for the upcoming season. We are looking for people to teach youth about the fundamentals of the game, sportsmanship, teamwork, hard work, and overall having fun!

Season runs from November - February. Timeline of events will vary by grade but generally practices (one practice during the week) start in November and games (Saturdays) will start in December. We will take a break when LWSD goes in winter break and start back up in January.

Things to fill out:
1. Register for Youth Basketball Volunteer Coach
2. Concussion Training (Mandatory) - https://www.cdc.gov/headsup/youthsports/training/index.html
3. Background Check (Will be emailed to you once registered as Volunteer Coach)

Important Dates:
Coaches Meeting - 6:00 p.m. on Oct. 24, 2024 at Redmond Community Center at Marymoor Village (6505 176th Ave NE)

Coaches Training - Oct. 26, Location/Time - TBD
