(Ages 7 - 12) Join us for a fun and interactive night of cooking designed for both parents and children! Led by Honest to Goodness Chef Services you and your child will cultivate kitchen skills with two soups: red lentil with coconut, and chicken-vegetable. You will make one vegetarian stock and one chicken stock for the soup, then use knife skills to prep the ingredients for the soups. You will also discuss flavor-building and technique, and the idea of making soup using these techniques for any soup imaginable. Herb flakey biscuits will be the accompaniment for the soups: using a mix of fresh herbs and scallions, these flakey biscuits will delight and surprise with their savory goodness! (Accommodations can be made for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free.)

Family cooking classes offer a wonderful opportunity for bonding and teaching your children essential cooking skills, They foster teamwork, creativity, and make mealtime a fun and engaging experience for everyone involved! All levels are welcome, No experience necessary!

Family Cooking Classes are led by chef's from Honest to Goodness Chef Services.

Registration is for a child and parent/guardian pair. Please register your child when signing up. If you would like to only register your child for the class, please contact us in advance of registration for more information

Refund Policy:

Cancellations received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 24 hours before start time. Exceptions can be made for illness.
