Description:

(Ages 5 - 7) Discover the world of coding and animation, in this engaging course designed for young learners! Our curriculum focuses on developing computational thinking skills and foundational coding concepts. Using age-appropriate online tools such as Lightbot, Kodable, and Scratch, students will learn basic coding concepts, including Loops and Conditions. They will create their own characters, animate them, and tell stories through art and creativity. Projects range from coding simple games and stories to animating a walk cycle, a running unicorn, and a funny handshake.

By the end of the course, students will become comfortable applying basic coding concepts to create simple Scratch projects and animations on their own, building a solid foundation for future learning. Plus, they will learn while having fun with new friends!

This camp combines content from our 'Little Coders' beginner camp, 'Little Coders: Animation' intermediate camp, and 'Littler Coders: Storytelling' advanced camp. All experience levels are welcome. No experience is necessary.

This camp is led by Coding with Kids.
