Description:

(Ages 6+ for the 5k) Join us for our annual Beat the Bunny 5K race, a fun, family-friendly event! Whether you run, walk, stroll, hop, or beat the bunny, everyone wins a prize. The race also includes a FREE kids’ dash at 9:30 a.m., prior to the start of the 5K race at 10 a.m.

The race starts from the Redmond Senior & Community Center located at 8703 160th Ave NE Redmond, WA 98052. Parking is available in the community center parking lots, the lower level of the municipal parking garage, the City Hall parking lot, and surrounding streets. The start/finish line will be directly behind the community center with an out and back route running thru the scenic Samammish River Trail. Packet pick up information will be sent during the last week of March.

Registration Details: 

• To participate in the 5K, registration is required. By signing up, you'll receive a 2025 Beat the Bunny 5K T-shirt and a race bib. 
• If you only plan to participate in the Kids Dash, there's no need to register. 
• Early Bird Registration ends on Friday February 28th at 5 p.m., register before this deadline to lock in the lowest price.
• 5k pre-registration closes on April 11th at 5 p.m.
• Day of Registration is available starting at 8:00 a.m. Please plan additional time if you would like to register on the monring of the race. 

 

Volunteer:

We're looking for volunteers to help us set up the event, support the race, distribute items to runners, and more. Sign up to volunteer.

 

Refund Policy:

Cancellations received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 24 hours before activity start time. Exceptions can be made for illness.
