Description:

(Ages 6-12) Learn traditional Japanese karate and participate in Japanese language lessons, arts and crafts, and games in a fun week of karate camp!

Instruction includes Japanese terminology and etiquette along with fundamentals in Shito-Ryu style karate. Benefits of karate training include improvement in flexibility, strength, coordination, and overall physical fitness.

What to Bring: Please bring a sack lunch, two small snacks, and water bottle daily. Dress in clothes that allow for movement. All other materials are provided.

Camp activities end at 4 p.m. and an extended hour of camp is included from 4-5 p.m. for those who need it. All skill levels are welcome. No experience is required.

Refund and Transfer Policy: 

Cancellations and transfer requests received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund of activity fees, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations or transfers received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund of activity fee, or 50% of activity fee transferred to a future program. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 3 business days before start date. The credit card processing fee is nonrefundable.  Exceptions can be made for illness.
