Description:

(Ages 16+) Learn to throw on the potter's wheel and hand-building in this introduction to pottery activity! This activity focuses on beginner-level wheel throwing: making plates, cups, bowls, and more.

This class includes instruction, but does require independent work on clay projects with concepts that have been taught during class.

Learn clay basics and how to trim, glaze, and decorate pieces. All skill levels are welcome. No experience is required.

What to Bring: Please dress for mess and wear closed toe shoes. Bringing an apron or smock is optional. All other materials are provided.

Refund and Transfer Policy: Cancellations and transfer requests received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund of activity fees, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations or transfers received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund of activity fee, or 50% of activity fee transferred to a future program. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 3 business days before start date. The credit card processing fee is nonrefundable. Exceptions can be made for illness.
