Description:

(Ages 50+) Wood is one of nature's wonders. In this activity, we learn how to clean, scrape, and oil driftwood to bring out the beauty hidden under layers of dirt and decay. For your information: the process of sanding, shaping and polishing a piece of driftwood can typically take several months to complete. We also cover how to select a base and finish the sculpture.

Morning session only available for returning participants.

Afternoon session is open to new participants. 

Refund and Transfer Policy:

Cancellations and transfer requests received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund of activity fees, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations or transfers received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund of activity fee, or 50% of activity fee transferred to a future program. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 3 business days before start date. The credit card processing fee is nonrefundable.  Exceptions can be made for illness.
