Description:
(Ages 12-18) Come to Farrel McWhirter Park to earn service hours! Over the course of two hours you will particiapte in a variety of activities around the Park to help keep it a clean and welcoming environment for the farm animals and all the park visitors! Most tasks will not involve direct animal contact, but we will make sure to wrap up our time with some animal meet and greets.

Time spent in nature and around animals has shown to lower cortisol levels and increase psychological well-being in people of all ages.

Refund and Transfer Policy:
Cancellations and transfer requests received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund of activity fees, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations or transfers received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund of activity fee, or 50% of activity fee transferred to a future program. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 3 business days before start date. The credit card processing fee is nonrefundable. Exceptions can be made for illness.

Notes: What to bring: -Closed toes shoes and long pants required. -Bring your own gloves and a water bottle. -Programs run regardless of weather, so come prepared to experience the Farm rain or shine! -Open to any teens hoping to earn some service hours for school, or just want to get outside! Reminders: -Check-in a the the Big Red Barn at Farrel-McWhirter Park. -For anyone under the age of 16, a guardian should check you in and out from the barn.
