Description:
(Ages 7-12) Looking for a fun and interesting introduction to the basics of ponies and horses? Join us at Farrel-McWhirter Farm and learn the important skills of how to halter and lead a pony.
What to bring:
Did you know horses and ponies have such large hearts that there is electromagnetic field give off by them? Recent studies have found that horses and ponies can be exceptionally calming to children and adults, because of this. Open to all experience levels!

Refund and Transfer Policy:
Cancellations and transfer requests received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund of activity fees, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations or transfers received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund of activity fee, or 50% of activity fee transferred to a future program. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 3 business days before start date. The credit card processing fee is nonrefundable. Exceptions can be made for illness.

Some important information: - PLEASE BE ON TIME-due to safety concerns students that are more than 10 minutes late may not be admitted to the class. - Please dress for the weather. - Long pants & closed toed shoes are required. - We provide ASTM/SEI-Certified equestrian helmets or bring your own certified equestrian helmet. Wearing helmets is required during any equestrian activity in the 12 and under youth program.
