Description:

(Ages 18+) In this introductory activity, we start with basics and progress weekly to learn Raqs Sharqi, or more commonly known as Belly Dance. Learn how to isolate different areas of the body and contrast with soft sinuous movements. Additionally, participants learn Arabic rhythms and how to dance to them. All levels welcome, No experience necessary.

Belly dance classes offer a range of benefits, including improved core strength, flexibility, and posture due to the focused movements and muscle control required. The rhythmic and expressive nature of belly dance can also reduce stress, improve mental well-being, and provide a fun and engaging way to connect with others.

Refund Policy:

Cancellations received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 24 hours before activity start time. Exceptions can be made for illness.
