Description:

(Ages 9-14) A unique opportunity this summer for kids of all skill levels to learn basic cartoon drawing skills from local professional cartoonist Jeff Johnson through a series of fun, challenging, creative projects! Areas of study include faces/expressions/features, character development, human and animal bodies in action positions, hair, backgrounds, perspective, and much more. Each camper is encouraged to develop their own cartooning style. Emphasis is on having fun in a safe, positive, and creative camp environment. All supplies and materials are provided. Come join the fun! All skill levels are welcome. 

What to Bring: Please bring a water bottle and lunch daily. All other materials are provided.

This camp is led by Jeff Johnson. Jeff Johnson is a cartoonist and humorous illustrator with a 25+ year award winning editorial cartooning career. He strives to create a positive classroom environment and his goal is to encourage aspiring cartoonists to develop their skills, exercise their creativity, use their imaginations and above all - HAVE FUN!

Refund and Transfer Policy: 

Cancellations and transfer requests received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund of activity fees, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations or transfers received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund of activity fee, or 50% of activity fee transferred to a future program. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 3 business days before start date. The credit card processing fee is nonrefundable.  Exceptions can be made for illness.
