Description:

(Ages 8-12) Calling all Minecrafters! Learn programming, harness your creativity, and hack your Minecraft in-game experience through building your own custom mods! Build your own world maps, create new items, and code non-playable characters and new game modes. Use Java to customize your Minecraft game using basic coding concepts along with more complex skills such as intervals, randomization, arrays and classes. As you advance through the pathway, learn how to create super-tools, color-changing sheep, hawk-eye bows, and more! Before you know it, you'll be able to create a fully customized Minecraft experience to take your gaming to a whole new level! All skill levels are welcome. No experience is required. 

What to Bring: Please bring a water bottle and snack daily. 

• All students must have a Minecraft Java Edition license before the first day of camp. If your student does not have an active account, prior to the first class, please click HERE to purchase a license and click HERE to allow the “multiplayer” option. Please send your student's login information with them to class.
• All students must have a Code Kingdoms subscription before the first day of camp, which provides them with a code editor to create their own mods. If your student does not have an active account, prior to the first day of camp, please click HERE to purchase a subscription.

*Please note this is a half day camp, there is no supervised break between AM and PM camps.

Refund and Transfer Policy: 

Cancellations and transfer requests received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund of activity fees, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations or transfers received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund of activity fee, or 50% of activity fee transferred to a future program. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 3 business days before start date. The credit card processing fee is nonrefundable.  Exceptions can be made for illness.
