(GIRLS Ages 9-11) Do you love DIY? Dreaming about redecorating your room? Spend the week designing, decorating and making real decor for your own bedroom! Campers will use a variety of math skills to create geometric luminary lamps, handy chalkboard door hangers, and other crafts to personalize their own bedroom. Throughout the week, campers will use math skills such as measurement, multiplication, division, area, and perimeter to design a scale model 3D mini room with working lights! All materials included.

What to Bring: Bring a nut free lunch and snack, water bottle, and sunscreen labeled with your child’s name. All other materials are provided.

This camp is led by Girls Rock Math. At Girls Rock Math we reinforce that math is fun and imaginative. We aim to boost interest and confidence in mathematics. Learning at Girls Rock Math allows for collaboration, emphasizing persistence, strategy building and mathematical thinking.

Refund and Transfer Policy: 

Cancellations and transfer requests received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund of activity fees, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations or transfers received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund of activity fee, or 50% of activity fee transferred to a future program. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 3 business days before start date. The credit card processing fee is nonrefundable.  Exceptions can be made for illness.

Prerequisites: Campers need to be entering 4th, 5th, or 6th grade in the fall.
