Description:

(Ages 8-14) Push, pull, lift or flip your opponent's robot out of the arena to claim victory and become the Steamoji Robo Battle Master! In this week-long camp, you’ll combine a whole suite of STEAM skills to design, prototype, code and build your very own battle robot that will face off against your fellow campers at the end of the week. You will learn: Coding - Code a Micro:bit microcontroller as the “brain” of your battle bot, Engineering - Planning, prototyping, evaluating and improving, 3D Printing - Use 3D design and printing to make additional components for your robot! All skill levels are welcome. No experience is required. 

What to Bring: Please bring a sack lunch, water bottle, and snack daily. All other materials are provided.

Refund and Transfer Policy: 

Cancellations and transfer requests received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund of activity fees, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations or transfers received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund of activity fee, or 50% of activity fee transferred to a future program. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 3 business days before start date. The credit card processing fee is nonrefundable.  Exceptions can be made for illness.
