Description:

(Ages 8 - 12) Learn to paint with watercolors! Based on Waldorf practices, each week a different story will be introduced that will be combined with a painting process, resulting in dreamlike illustrations. The first half of each class will be sent working with wet-on-wet techniques using only three primary colors, and the second half of each class will be spent working with wet-on-dry teachniques utilzing the entire color wheel. All skill levels welcome!

Weekly Themes:

-Week 1: Day and Night with the story "The Girl of Night and the Boy of Day"

-Week 2: Sun and Moon with the story "The Sleepy Little Seeds"

-Week 3: Meadows and Mountains with the story "The Gnomes of Caven Cove"

-Week 4: Rainbows and Clouds with the story "The Cloud Princess"

Refund and Transfer Policy:

Cancellations and transfer requests received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund of activity fees, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations or transfers received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund of activity fee, or 50% of activity fee transferred to a future program. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 3 business days before start date. The credit card processing fee is nonrefundable. Exceptions can be made for illness.
