(All Ages) How are clothes made? Where does wool come from? In this new three-part series, Fleece to Fabric, see what is involved in taking the wool from the sheep at Farrel-McWhirter Farm and turning it into a finished, wearable garment. In Shearing, Part 1, we'll watch FM's resident sheep get their summer haircuts, and then you'll have an opportunity to get up close and personal with their fleece afterwards. Come join the fun! This class is FREE and all ages are welcome to attend. Program will start in the Small Animal Barn for shearing and then the fleeces will be moved to the Museum, located adjacent to the Big Red Barn.

Refund and Transfer Policy: Cancellations and transfer requests received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund of activity fees, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations or transfers received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund of activity fee, or 50% of activity fee transferred to a future program. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 3 business days before start date. The credit card processing fee is nonrefundable. Exceptions can be made for illness.
