Registration Closes Sunday, May 11th, 2025

The 12u Softball league is live pitch. Participants should bring their own glove. Gloves can be loaned out from the recreation department as well. Batting gloves are encouraged. Players can bring their own bats or use the ones that are provided. 

Registration closes May 11th, 2025. Late registration can take place until June 1st, 2025, if there are available spots on a team along with an additional $35 to the current registration price.

Games will start on June 2nd, 2025, with the game schedule being sent out on May 23rd, 2025. Game times will be as follows Monday nights in Buena Vista and Thursday Nights in Salida.  

5:30 PM - 6:30 PM 

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

7:30 PM - 8:30 PM

8:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Practices will be scheduled by the coach to best suit the players and the coach. Practice schedules will be sent out the week of May 12th, 2025. 

Dates and times are subject to change.

Signing up for youth softball comes with a team shirt and the size will be requested during checkout. 

Price: $5.50 - $115.00 Taxes waived

Required age: 11 - 12 years old as of 5/1/2025

Notes: -Please email ryan.wiegman@cityofsalida.com if you are interested in coaching or volunteering. -The coach's child or one of the coach's children will get free registration. -Participants supply their own gloves and cleats, they may bring other equipment like bats, arm guards, helmets and the league will supply the rest of the equipment. -T-shirts and Registration are NOT guaranteed after May 11th, 2025.

Prerequisites: A player must be 11 years old or older on May 1st, 2025.

More information: Age groups may be combined to make as even teams as possible.
