Description:

For adults with no previous experience who want to be introducedto the flair and artistic stylings of American Tap dance. In this 6-week course students will learn the fundamentals of tap vocabulary, proper body alignment and traditional movement technique. Hands-on instruction will leave students knowledgeable about the evolution of tap dance, proper use of the tap shoe, and deciphering musical measurements.

Once completed, students will be ready for weekly Beginner Drop-In classes at the Collage Dance Center.

Comfortable clothing and tap shoes are required. Select apparel is available for purchase at the Collage Dance Center.
