PLEAD READ THE FOLLOWING POLICIES BEFORE PURCHASING A DROP-IN CLASS OR ATTENDING AN OPEN STUDIO. WE HOPE YOU WILL JOIN US:

Level 101, All Levels, and Mixed Level classes are available for drop-in during this session. Please contact us if you are unsure whether you qualify to drop in on a class. Anyone may drop in on any Flexibility, Conditioning, or Dance class at any time during the session as long as there is space available in the class.

All other classes require explicit approval for drop-ins. Students who are currently enrolled in classes at C3 are approved to drop in on classes at or below their current class level in each discipline in which they have recently taken classes. Those who are new to C3 but not new to circus arts must contact us to arrange a skill evaluation before attending classes. If a student purchases a drop-in for a class that they are not approved to take and the instructor determines that they cannot safely participate in class, the student will not be allowed to participate and no refund will be granted.

What is Open Studio?

Open Studio is an awesome way to make up a missed class or get extra practice in your circus discipline of choice! Students who are currently enrolled in classes, or otherwise approved by a C3 staff, may attend our open studios or practice times to practice on the ground or in the air. Although it isn’t a full class, one or more instructors will be there monitoring the session and will be happy to give you advice or a spot on skills you are practicing.

Scheduling & General Policies for Session Classes, Open Studios, and Private Lessons:

  • Can I DROP IN on a session class? All unclaimed spots for session classes will be converted into drop-ins one week after the start of the session.
  • At this time, private lessons may not be booked directly with a coach. For more information about private lessons and how to request one, please read the information in this link and fill out the form: https://www.commonwealthcircus.com/private-lessons. You can also email us at scheduling@commonwealthcircus.com to inquire about a private lesson.
  • Classes are sometimes listed by level! Most of our youth classes are designed to accommodate youth of all levels. New students are welcome! If you are curious if a class is a good fit for you in terms of level, please email us at info@commonwealthcircus.com and we'd be happy to chat! If you are a new student, sign up for classes that are 101-level or All Levels.
  • If you are new to the studio, please get in touch to determine which level of class might be best for you!

COVID-19 Policy Notes:

By signing up for this class you are consenting to abide by any COVID policy update that may occur after you have signed up for your class workshop or event. While registering for the next session, please consider that some of these policies might be subject to change.  This includes the potential to change back to a mask-required policy in the middle of the session depending on the current COVID trends.

  • At this time we have moved to a masked encouraged system.  Masks are no longer required but we do still encourage and support our students and staff to wear masks in the studio.  We recommend wearing a filtered mask but are no longer requiring it.  Students who are 1.5-2 years old do not have to wear a mask even if we move back to a mask-required system in the future.

Missed Class Make-Up Policy:

Please take a moment to review our studio policies, which include information on how to manage planned absences and how to use make-up classes. Please familiarize yourself with the policy surrounding missed classes and making up classes in advance of the start of the session. All students will receive TWO make-up credits for the session.

Students have the opportunity to make up missed classes in one of two ways:

  1. Attend another in-studio class by using our Drop-In & Open Studios calendar. This process is outlined on our POLICIES PAGE found on the website.
  2. Sign up for an Open Studio practice time. These slots will become available at the beginning of the session.

Weather-Related Cancelations:

  • C3 will announce closures due to weather at least two hours before class start time.
  • Cancelations will be announced over email and on social media.
  • If C3 is closed due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, Administration will contact students directly regarding make-up options.

Refund, Cancelation, & Injury Policy:

NOTE: There are no refunds for drop-in classes. No exceptions. If you are not able to attend your drop-in class, please email us at info@commonwealthcircus.com and we will try to find an alternative date for you to attend class.

Students who wish to drop out of an entire session after they have registered, but before the first MONDAY of the session, will be charged a 50% cancelation fee. Refunds for session classes after the first MONDAY of the session are granted only in the case of extraordinary circumstances and at the discretion of C3 management. Refunds are not given for failure to attend, absence, sick days, previous injury, or participant dismissal due to unsafe behavior. All refunds are subject to a 5% administrative fee. Please check your schedule before signing up for classes. All registrations and make-up credits are non-transferable, meaning only the student who is signed up may use them.

During the registration period, session registrations may be transferred to another account member within the same Amilia account for a 3% fee. When registration closes on the second Monday of the session, session registrations are no longer transferable.

We're looking forward to circusing with you soon!
