Description:
Hurry up and slow down in this two-day film photography workshop and walk in the streets of Knob Hill. Day 1: We’ll meet at Shutter & Strum, 2217 E Platte Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80909. With a 35mm film camera and a roll of black and white film, you will join a small group of like-minded people and photographer Brian Tryon on an exploration of the beautiful urban landscape of the Knob Hill Arts District. This class will focus on mindfulness, technique, lighting, creativity, and most importantly on SLOWING DOWN with your camera, thinking about each shot you make. Day 2: You and the group will then continue your journey in the Shutter & Strum darkroom to develop your film and make prints of your favorite frames. Fall in love with the tactile process of darkroom development—for the first time or all over again! Open to all levels of photographers. No digital cameras. Recommended for ages 15 and up.
Available spots: 4 out of 4
Price: $150.00 Taxes waived
