Description:

Students are encouraged to come with project ideas, as the beginning of the first class will be a group decision on what pieces we would like to complete during the month. Technique as well as creativity will be strongly emphasized. Students should expect to walk away with the skills and confidence to make a taller, thinner, unique piece of art.

Required age: 15 - 117 years old on the day of the activity

Notes: Bring you favorite tools. Clay, as well as the first $10 in firing fees, is included with a $30 fee payable to the instructor on the first day of class. Any pottery fired that is above the discounted class fee is charged at $0.10 (ten cents) per ounce.

Prerequisites: Previous throwing experience is required for this advanced 4-week class.
