Description:

This workshop will introduce students to many different kinds of clasping methods and mechanisms for jewelry as well as a section on clasp inspirations with ideas coming from functional objects and non-jewelry sources. Create four or five samples (as many as time allows) of different clasps types that can be integrated into the main design of a piece of jewelry Create clasp mechanisms that are functional, fun and invite being taken apart and put back together like a puzzle
