Class Overview

This 4-week program is for kids ages 10-15 to explore the world of 3D printing! Through hands-on computer modeling and printing, they'll learn how 3D printing works, how to print a file, and then focus on creating their own designs to print through TinkerCAD. This is a great class for kids who are new to 3D printing/CAD or leveling up existing skills.

What You'll Learn

• How 3D printers work and key vocabulary
• Independent use of a printer, from setting up the file to printing it
• CAD (computer-aided design) - key principles and how to design your own models, from start to finish
