Description:

This is an intensive workshop where you will learn the basic steps to preparing, setting up, and weaving on a four-shaft floor loom. Each Student will make a five-foot sampler of different weave patterns. Followed by planning and weaving your own project idea.

• Warping: preparing the yarn to go onto the loom

• Dressing the loom: beaming the warp, sleying the reed, drawing-in the heddles

• Tying on with tension and adjusting tension

• Working with different shuttles and Beating

• Sampling different weaving patterns

• Troubleshooting

• Removing and Finishing
