The Dalhousie Community Association is offering outdoor Pickleball Learn to Play (Intro) lessons in July and August 2025.

This registration will let you choose from one of our eight 2-hour lessons offered in July and August.

Adult Age Group is: 15+

General Event Information

Instructor (July 23, 24, Aug 16, 17, 23, 24): Stephen holds both Level 1 and Level 2 certifications from the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) and is also certified as an Instructor 1 through the National Coaching Certification Program’s Introducing Pickleball course with Pickleball Canada.

Instructor (July 19, 20): Rande Mergerenn is an IPTPA Pickleball Instructor and you may have seen or met Rande over the past few years at the DCA Pickleball courts as our main Instructor.

In the Learn to Play Intro classes, you'll learn the history of the game and within the 2 hour session, you'll go from the basics to playing full Pickleball matches on your own! We provide the paddles, balls and other equipment. You provide court shoes, athletic clothes and be prepared to have fun!

These are small sized classes with a maximum of 8 individuals. Once a 2-hour time slot reaches the maximum of 8 student registrations, the time slot will be sold out.

Learn to Play (Intro) Lessons

• Saturdays: July 19, July 26, Aug 16, Aug 23 – 2:00PM – 4:00PM
• Sundays: July 20, July 27, Aug 17, Aug 24 – 2:00PM – 4:00PM

Cost:

The cost for one 2-hour session will be $50.00 total.
