Brighten up your garden or potted plants with your own handmade fused glass stakes! In this fun and beginner-friendly class, you'll learn the basics of fused glass design, cutting, and assembly while creating a set of colorful garden or plant stakes.

No experience is necessary — we’ll guide you through the entire process, from safely cutting glass to arranging your designs for firing in the kiln. Explore your creativity with vibrant colors, patterns, and shapes as you make 2–4 unique stakes perfect for indoor or outdoor use.

Glass fusing is the process of joining compatible sheet glasses together in a kiln until the glass fuses at approximately 1490 degrees Fahrenheit. It grants you the power to create colorful, dynamic works of glass art that are completely unique. Unlike many other glass forms, glass fusing allows you as much time as you need to bring your designs to life since you are working with the glass while it is cold.

Your fused glass projects will stay at the studio after the workshop to be fired in our kiln. We will notify you as soon as they’re ready to be picked up! *Shipping is available for an additional cost.

Please arrive for class in closed-toe, closed-heel shoes with socks that protect up to the ankle. Long hair must be tied back. Layers are encouraged as the shop can be very cold or very hot. If you have personal protective equipment such as your own safety goggles, please bring it with you. Otherwise, protective gear will be provided as needed.
