Description:

Learn how to make rings with Metal Clay. You will learn how to create a free-flowing ring with some adjustability on the size. These rings will be created and fired flat and formed into shape around the mandrel after firing. You will also learn how to form a ring on a mandrel, creating a smooth seam. We will cover how to deal with the shrinkage for sizing. We will be using Art Clay silver 950. It is the most suitable and durable clay for this type of project. Materials provided will be 10 grams of clay and kiln safe cubic zirconia.

This will be two evenings of classes. The first night you will create your ring and the instructor, Donna will fire them in the kiln. During the second class we will form the rings to fit plus cover the finishing process. This class is great for beginners and advanced students alike.

The first class will be 3 hours and the second will be 1.5 hours.

All materials and tools included.
