Description:

Hobby came is explored as a flexible framing solution for curved and organic designs. Students will create a copper-foiled suncatcher from provided organic patterns, using hobby came to shape, support, and finish the outer edge of the piece.

The process highlights how hobby came responds to curves, how it impacts the overall strength and line quality of a piece, and where it fits within copper-foil construction. Each student will complete a finished suncatcher, approximately 5” × 5”, selecting from a range of colored and textured glass to develop an individual result

All tools and material included.
