Description:

If you have taken a glass class at DIYcave, come to our Glass Open Studio sessions. Come back and use our tools to practice what you learned, make something new or make a gift for family/friends, and spend a fun time with others while working on your craft.

Come and practice your skills with our guidance. We do not teach techniques in Open Studio, however someone will be there if you have any questions or need assistance.  We recommend you have the basic knowledge and skills necessary to complete your project.

Enjoy access to tools and non-glass supplies including solder, copper foil, flux, patina, and more. Glass, Kiln Firing Fees and other materials are Not included. 

For your convenience, we will have affordable art glass and other materials available for purchase or bring your own.  *COE 90 is the only glass we allow in our kilns unless you schedule your own custom firing.

Notes: Materials, including Glass and Kiln Firing Fees are Not included in Glass Open Studio Sessions. We provide tools and non-glass supplies including solder, copper foil, flux, patina. For your convenience, we will have a large assortment of glass and other materials available for purchase or bring your own. *COE 90 is the only glass we allow in our kilns unless you schedule your own custom firing.   *Due to the use of lead during soldering, we do not recommend students that are pregnant or breastfeeding attend as some people will be working on stained glass projects. Your fused glass projects will stay at the studio after the workshop to be fired in our kiln. We will notify you as soon as they’re ready to be picked up! *Shipping is available for an additional cost. Please arrive for class in closed-toe, closed-heel shoes with socks that protect up to the ankle. Long hair must be tied back.  If you have personal protective equipment such as your own safety goggles, please bring it with you. Otherwise, protective gear will be provided as needed. Winter Weather Advisory: Please be advised that classes will continue as scheduled during winter weather conditions unless extraordinary circumstances arise. In such cases, we will contact you directly to provide alternative class options. As class cancellations due to winter weather are rare, we encourage you to consider this when signing up. Prerequisites: Prerequisite: You MUST have taken a Glass class at DIYcave Ages 14+ welcome if accompanied by a parent/guardian. Both need to register and pay.
