Some projects begin with experience. Others begin with ambition.

This month's member event explores how makers turn big ideas into finished projects, even when they don't yet have all the skills to get there. Seatonn will share examples of members who came to the Cave with little woodworking experience but a clear vision, and how they combined learning, problem-solving, and persistence to bring those ideas to life.

From project planning and design decisions to proportions, curves, and construction techniques, you'll see how thoughtful choices shape the final result and elevate a project beyond the basics.

Then Michelle will demonstrate her iridescent wood inlay process, showing how decorative details can add beauty, personality, and visual impact to woodworking projects. You'll learn about materials, techniques, and ways to incorporate inlays into turned pieces, furniture, cabinetry, and other woodworking projects.

Join us for an evening of inspiration, design, and craftsmanship, and discover how a great project often starts with nothing more than an idea.
