Location: Classroom + Glass Studio (DIYcave - East Building) | 444 SE 9th St, Bend, OR, 97702

Description:

I’m excited to invite you to be part of a new experiment we’re calling Kiln Club — a monthly gathering where we learn, explore, and create fused glass projects together in a book-club style format. The idea is that each month we’ll focus on a new technique or project, share ideas, and support each other as we grow our glass skills.

First Meeting: Thursday, October 16 at 5:30pm

We’ll kick things off with a potluck dinner and planning session. Bring a dish to share and your ideas! At this first meeting, we’ll:

  • Talk through the Kiln Club plan and format

  • Decide on our first group project

  • Set the calendar for upcoming sessions

About Kiln Club

  • Think “book club” but for fused glass. Each month we’ll have a theme: sometimes technique-driven (like pulling vitrograph, combing, or coldworking), other times project-based (like making coasters, suncatchers, or platters).

  • We’ll learn together, share resources and ideas, and make our own unique versions of each project.

  • Everyone will take home finished work and a growing library of new techniques.

I’d love for you to join this first gathering and help shape the future of Kiln Club.

Looking forward to making this a fun, creative addition to our upcoming winter season.

Think it, Make It!
