Meet the Central Oregon Woodworkers: Wood Shop Tour
April 12th | 3–5PM | Free for DIYcave Members 

The Central Oregon Woodworkers will be hosting their monthly meeting at the DIYcave this month. Come learn who they are, what they do, and how you can get involved. They’re a community of woodworkers, turners, and carvers who meet to share knowledge, ideas, and inspiration. Everyone is welcome — beginners, seasoned pros, or anyone simply curious about woodworking. See more on their website here. 

This month’s meeting includes a tour of the newest additions to the woodshop that include a new router table as well as a review of our new CNC router to get a look at what it's capable of.

Steve will lead the tour, walk through the new router table, answer questions about current woodshop classes, and share a show‑and‑tell of his cedar strip kayak currently in progress!

Kevin will cover the capabilities of the new CNC. Since its most impressive operations take hours, he’s creating a piece ahead of time to display during the event.
