Create Your Own Stained Glass Mushroom Suncatcher

Curious about stained glass? This beginner-friendly class is a fun and approachable way to get started. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create a cheerful mushroom stained glass suncatcher while learning the fundamentals of the copper foil technique—no prior experience required.

You’ll work with pre-cut glass pieces shaped to form a whimsical mushroom design, giving you plenty of freedom to choose colors and make the piece your own. Step by step, you’ll learn how to apply copper foil, solder the pieces together, and finish your suncatcher so it’s ready to hang and catch the light.

By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a completed stained glass mushroom suncatcher and a solid introduction to the tools, materials, and techniques used in stained glass—perfect for anyone looking to explore a new creative craft. 🍄✨

Notes: *Due to the use of lead during soldering, we do not recommend students that are pregnant or breastfeeding take our stained glass classes. Please arrive for class in closed-toe, closed-heel shoes with socks that protect up to the ankle. Long hair must be tied back. Layers are encouraged as the shop can be very cold or very hot. If you have personal protective equipment such as your own safety goggles, please bring it with you. Otherwise, protective gear will be provided as needed.
