Location: Metal Spaces (DIYcave) | 444 Southeast 9th Street, Bend, OR, 97702

Description:

Turn your empty bottles into seriously cool drinking glasses in this hands-on glassworking class.

You’ll learn how to safely cut glass bottles using an easy-to-build jig and then fire polish the rims using our custom torch setup to create smooth, finished drinking glasses you’ll actually want to use at home.

Bring 4 empty bottles to class and transform them into custom glasses. They don’t have to be wine bottles — beer bottles, jars, and soda bottles can all make great-looking glasses too! *Thick or oddly shaped bottles are more challenging, so we recommend bringing a few round, evenly shaped bottles to learn on first before attempting more advanced shapes.

This class is absolutely beginner friendly and can be taken solo, but bringing a friend or partner is encouraged since having a second set of hands makes parts of the process both easier and more fun.

All materials and tools included.
