Description:

If you have taken a glass class at DIYcave, come to our Glass Open Studio sessions. Come back and use our tools to practice what you learned, make something new or make a gift for family/friends, and spend a fun time with others while working on your craft.

Come and practice your skills with our guidance. We do not teach techniques in Open Studio, however someone will be there if you have any questions or need assistance.  We recommend you have the basic knowledge and skills necessary to complete your project.

Enjoy access to tools and non-glass supplies including solder, copper foil, flux, patina, and more.

For your convenience, we will have affordable art glass and other materials available for purchase or bring your own.

Kiln firing is not included.  If you are kiln certified, you will need to book the kiln to fire pieces yourself.

*Due to the use of lead during soldering, we do not recommend students that are pregnant or breastfeeding attend as some people will be working on stained glass projects.

Required age: Over 14 years old on the day of the activity

Prerequisites: Prerequisite: You MUST have taken a Glass class at DIYcave Ages 14+ welcome if accompanied by a parent/guardian. Both need to register and pay.
