Description:

C420 Fundamentals welcomes sailors of varying experience to the thrill of doublehanded sailing, with skill-matched groups—Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced—ensuring every participant progresses confidently. Beginners learn rigging, boat handling, course navigation, and  skipper-crew teamwork; Intermediates unlock trapeze techniques, spinnaker handling, and advanced boat control in varying conditions; while Advanced sailors refine race tactics, and coordination. Through hands-on drills and expert coaching participants build confidence, fostering lifelong sailing skills and camaraderie.

Required age: 13 - 18 years old as of 8/31/2026

Notes: Required gear: USCG Type III PFD, drysuit or wetsuit, closed-toe shoes, and a team-player mindset.
