Our program for 7th and 8th grade students, sailing as both Skipper and Crew in the 420, a collaborative two-person boat, students learn essential skills like sail trim, body positioning, and teamwork. This hands-on experience helps them develop a strong foundation for success in high school racing and beyond.

By mastering these foundational skills and understanding the importance of teamwork and communication on the water, students are prepared to excel in more advanced racing levels and build a lifelong passion for sailing.

Required age: 12 - 15 years old on the day of the activity

Prerequisites: Competent Swimmer Open to sailors in the 7th-8th grade
