Description:
Dive into Oceanography!
As the water cools and animals begin their migration south, it’s the perfect time of year to explore what’s happening beneath the ocean’s surface. In this 7-week homeschool program, students will dive deep into the world of oceanography—investigating both the biotic (living) and abiotic (non-living) factors that shape our oceans.
Through hands-on experiments, students will grow their own algae and test how changes in environmental conditions affect algal growth. Each week, we’ll explore fascinating topics such as ocean waves, tides, and chemistry, gaining a deeper understanding of the forces that drive life below the surface.
