Description:

This 2-week class will introduce experienced scullers to sweep rowing. This type of rowing uses one oar instead of two and is the main focus of high school rowing in the spring and fall. The class will introduce and explore the skills unique to this style of rowing. Rowers will take turns rowing and coxing, or steering the boat.

This is a 2-week program, please refer to the schedule for exact dates.

Required age: 14 - 18 years old as of 9/1/2026

Prerequisites: Learn to Row or a Fall/Spring Middle School Rowing Session. Competent Swimmer.
