Description:

Fall Freshman/Novice regular season for Duxbury High School Rowing team.  The Freshman/Novice team is for rowers in their freshman year and/or their first year of competitive rowing.  5 days of practice per week, approximately 4 regattas.  No previous rowing experience is required to join.

Practice Schedule:

Week of August 18-22:
Monday, Tuesday: 9-11am @ DBMS
Wednesday: Beach run with Varsity, meet at Powder Point Bridge, 7:30-9:00am
Thursday, Friday: 9-11am @ DBMS

Week of August 25-29
Monday, Tuesday: 3:30-5:30pm @ DBMS
Wednesday: First day of classes, NO PRACTICE
Thursday, Friday: 3:30-5:30pm @ DBMS

Required age: 13 - 19 years old as of 9/1/2024

Notes: Sign-ups are open after the program starts and we welcome athletes anytime during the first few weeks of the season.

Prerequisites: Duxbury High School Student, 9th-12th grade Competent swimmer
