Description:
DBMS offers half-day vacation day programs from 12:30-3:30 PM for grades K-2. During half-day programs, we pick students up from Chandler Elementary School in our 15-passenger van. Students who attend other schools are welcome to join our half-day programs. We also offer full-day vacation programs from 9:00-2:00 PM for grades K-5. Some of our full-day programs include a field trip component. Please read the program descriptions to learn more about the topic and activities for each program.
Schools out for the day, so join us for an exciting adventure to Clark’s Island! Students will learn a little about the history of the Island before hopping on the boat and heading out across the Bay! On the Island, students will take a short hike to Pulpit Rock before exploring some of the other hidden gems on the Island. We will take a break from exploring to have a picnic on the lawn and then make our way back to DBMS for pick up!
**Last fall we were very fortunate to have warm weather and clear skies. If the weather isn’t great to go on a boat ride, we will take a field trip down to Sandwich Tide Pools and then return to DBMS for a picnic lunch in Clifford Hall.
