Description:
Boating basics taught by women for women! This fun and empowering, hands-on, on-the-water introduction to boating is designed for casual boaters. We will explore basic navigation, engine troubleshooting, mooring, docking, anchoring, and what to do if you find yourself “in charge” onboard. Every boater should know what to do in case of an emergency on the water. We will spend some time in the classroom, take a tour of Duxbury Bay, teach you how to drive a small powerboat, and answer all of your questions in a judgment free space. The day wraps up with snacks and cocktails on the porch!
