Description:
Learn to row indoors this winter; train to be on the water in the spring!
This program provides an inclusive and supportive environment for high school aged youth with varying abilities to learn to row indoors. Classes will involve team-building, stretching, learning the basics of rowing on an erg machine, and utilizing our indoor rowing tanks. Students must be able to maintain core stability in a seated position and move independently on a rowing machine.
Past participants of our inclusion programs have had developmental disabilities, TBIs, Down Syndrome, limb differences, Autism, and mobility challenges. Supportive erg seats and hand supports are available.
Choose your own level of participation and set your own goals. All are welcome!
Please note that there is no class on the following date(s):
- Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
- Thursday, November 28, 2024 from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM
- Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
