(We offer camps for younger campers at Mavrix Entertainment next door to Octane Raceway.)
We're pleased to continue our partnership with Octane Raceway Scottsdale! Every week, campers will learn about various fields of engineering and science, enjoy adrenaline-fueled laps around the racetrack, immerse themselves in Velocity VR's free-roaming virtual worlds, and make new friends with fellow future STEM innovators. Camp enrollment includes one daily campers-only kart race. Campers will also partake in a VR gaming session, a laser tag battle at our sister location Mavrix next-door, and weeklong complimentary arcade access. All of these attractions are fully included with the cost of camp! (Campers must be a minimum of 54" to take part in all planned activities.)

Prices vary from week to week due to demand, holidays, and other factors. Click on a week below to view specific prices.
If there is Early Bird Pricing left it will be reflected automatically on the registration page.
We offer payment plans for no added fee! During checkout, simply select a payment plan and follow the instructions.
Age group:
Master (entering 5th through 9th grade in the fall)
(We offer camps for younger ages at Mavrix Entertainment next door to Octane Raceway.)
Camp Schedule:
8:30am-9:00am: Drop-off
9:00am-10:30am: EFK Camp Session
10:30am-12:00pm: Kart Racing or VR Gaming
12:00pm-12:30pm: Lunch
12:30pm-3:00pm: EFK Camp Session
3:00pm-3:30pm: Octane Activities
3:30pm: Pick-up
3:30pm-5:00pm: Optional Extended Care
(Campers signed up for Extended Care and those whose parents have not arrived by 3:45pm will be picked up next door at Mavrix, a sister location for Engineering For Kids.)
Breaks
Campers will have one break per AM and PM session and a longer break after eating lunch. During breaks, our staff will be situated near the front door of the facility to monitor your child’s safety. Campers will be able to participate in all the games offered by Octane Raceway Scottsdale in addition to the scheduled special events (e.g., racing, VR, laser tag).
Lunch
Due to state regulations for full-service kitchens, Octane Raceway Scottsdale is unable to allow outside food. All food must be purchased from Octane Raceway Scottsdale on the first day of camp each week. Lunches and healthy snacks will be provided to all campers by Octane Raceway Scottsdale according to the following weekly pricing schedule:
$50 (tax not included) for 5 hot lunches with drink and 10 snacks
The full list for lunch options will be available at sign-in on the first day of camp. (Prices will be adjusted for the shorter holiday weeks.) Please let us know on the first day of camp and through the child information form you complete during registration if there are any allergies we should be aware of and this information will be passed along to the instructors and the location's kitchen staff.
Extended Care
$50/week or $20/daily.
Please note: Extended care hours are now 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Prices have been reduced as a result.
From 3:30 PM up to 5:00 PM each day, your child will join our sister location at Mavrix next door to Octane Raceway (Note: If arriving for pick up after 3:45, campers will be at Mavrix). To purchase a full week, proceed to checkout with your chosen week(s) of camp and select the recommended "Extended Care" add-ons. You can also purchase full weeks after the fact via the "Extended Care" tab on our store page. If you require only specific days, please email us at phoenixinfo@engineeringforkids.com. and we can assist you directly.
Regarding Safety and Our Instructors
At EFK, safety is our #1 priority. All campers will receive a green wristband each day for identification which the facility staff also recognize. EFK's staff will have ID badges and will be wearing official EFK shirts. Our STEM instructors are background-checked and have current fingerprint clearance cards. They receive training on our curriculum and in areas of classroom management. All of our lead instructors are either state-certified teachers or have years of experience in STEM and/or education fields.
Camp Cancellation Policy: All cancellation and change requests must be submitted in writing by emailing us at phoenixinfo@engineeringforkids.com. For fastest service, simply reply to your invoice email. No refunds are given when cancelling 15 or fewer days from the start date of the camp. For all approved cancellations, you may choose between either a full account credit or a refund minus a 3% processing fee. By registering, you reserve a seat in our camp. As such, EFK is not able to provide a refund or credit for any absence or tardiness that occurs during your scheduled session including those related to illness.
