The NTS DramaFest Summer Intensive for Teachers returns this August 18–20, 2026 at the National Theatre School of Canada in Montréal.

Following the successful workshops of our last edition, we are excited to continue growing this dedicated professional learning space for theatre educators across the country. This year, English and Francophone cohorts will run simultaneously, with opportunities for shared learning experiences—creating a dynamic, bilingual environment rooted in collaboration and exchange.

Participants can expect two and half days of immersive hands-on sessions in acting, directing, design, and embodied storytelling—guided by new teaching artists and fresh perspectives—along with community-building gatherings and reflection circles.
