I hate auditions. Always have. So, I am going to create a workshop that I would have killed for when I first started my acting career: We will have fun. That's the secret. 

When you figure out how to have fun in an audition room, you can turn a stressful experience into a good or even great one. No one does their best work when dealing with anxiety or imposter syndrome. Together, we will uncover your unique personality and explore how to let that shine through, because really, directors just want to see who you really are. 

This doesn't mean that we won't be rigourous in the work, but we'll find a way to approach auditioning with joy, comfort, and groundedness. 

This workshop will be designed in a way where all levels of experience are welcome.  Please come with at least 2 monologues you feel passionate about. Style, gender or age of character do not matter. At some point in the workshop, we will be working one on one, within the group. 

We will look at how to: 

• choose audition material 
• break down and analyse text 
• apply for auditions 
• be confident, stay grounded and manage anxiety 
• present yourself in the room 
• perform a piece and 
• HAVE FUN!
