Morning Camp: Cameras, and Photos, and Film...Oh My!

Time: 9am until 12pm

This camp teaches the basics of black and white photography and digital photography. Techniques including composition, exposure, film processing, darkroom techniques, and Adobe Photoshop. No special equipment is required. If students wish to bring their own camera (any point and shoot), this is fine. Emerge also has point and shoot cameras available for use.

Lunch Bunch Hour

Time: 12pm until 1pm

Lunch bunch is included in all day camp packages. Please be sure to pack a bagged lunch for your child.

Afternoon Camp: Turn and Burn

Time: 1pm until 4pm

It is true that the potter’s wheel is mesmerizing. This camp is for students who want intensive time on the potter’s wheel. With instruction on centering, pulling, trimming, finishing, glazing, and kiln science. Campers will also discuss the implements of S.T.E.A.M. and how art can relate to other school subjects.

Required age: 10 - 16 years old on the day of the activity
